I went to see mummy in hospital
She seemed happy, but I miss her
Hospitals smell funny
Mummy had tubes in her
Daddy said they were to feed her
I think one tube had lemonade in it
Daddy made my fish fingers go black
And my beans were cold
He was looking out the window at our garden
We need Mummy home soon
Or I will get thin and be in hospital with Mummy
Daddy says we will see mummy tomorrow
And she will tell daddy how to cook
I want to take my biggest teddy
To cuddle her
Daddy says they don’t like bears in hospitals
Perhaps I can hide in Mummy’s bed
To stop her being lonely
