Inspiration piece
when i feel lost, i find myself figuring out the hour wherever you are.
it reminds me that — even though you are so far away —
you have lived through the hours i am currently experiencing.
at night, when i hear from you,
i am comforted by the fact that there will be a tomorrow
because you are waking up within it.
and in the mornings, when i am wondering what my day will throw at me,
i read your (usual morning) e-mail and find solace in the fact
that it has been like every other day — hard and tiring, but routine.
i would greatly prefer to wake up next to you..
face the unknown obstacles together.
but, if you have to be gone.. i remind myself:
at least i get a preview into our tomorrows.
