“Shaking Into Courage”
Response
Untitled
By Lisa Kilhefner
Inspiration piece
I fill the space
(between us)
like a whistling wind that sweeps between the buildings of a city
but I feel your space (between us);
you’re merely a reflection in a moonlit fountain pool.
You shift, sway, shaking off shards of glass so they mist
like droplets, smearing the photograph (of us).
It moves the space (between us)
to a landscape that does not contain
our silhouette.
