Each of us has a tiger inside
Some tigers whisper
Some dance or dream
Some screech and scream, wanting to get out
Mine dances and searches for you
A hungry, prowling hunter
Your scent surrounds me like a net
Arms reaching, stretching
Find me
Empty no longer
Gentle fingers unzip my weary suit
You smile as my wings unfold and begin to dry
The night is cold
And endless
