Blizzard

Inspiration Piece
Ice is tightening its grip.
It wants the world all white.
It remembers Mammoths
their heavy tread making the earth creak.
They were peaceful creatures.
Snow has become easier to summon
this winter, blustering down
from his cold Northern kingdom.
Ice adores snow
with his pristine blanket of purity.
Cars are weak smelly creatures
compared to Mammoths.
Easily trapped. It only takes snow
ten minutes of whirling fiercely
in their blank faces.
Ice hopes they will soon be wiped out
so the Mammoths can come back.
