What's interesting, Val, is that I first thought of a man; then, with all the memories/ideas the poem evoked, a woman. As I told Alisa, one of the memories her poem brought to mind was of a gospel singer we saw in the Bahamas, at a concert she had been coaxed from retirement to perform at.
How funny - Angel saw a woman and I saw a man (in both pieces). This was a match made in heaven - it would be difficult, if we hadn't been told, to work out which of these two wonderful pieces was the inspiration and which the response. Thank you both!
