please contain yourself
don’t spill your chaos in my space
when you rearrange yourself
be mindful please when your’re next to me
don’t misbehave yourself
your lack of awareness in your action
is toxic for my health
so please contain yourself

i must remove myself
fold myself in knots to avoid your touch
no room to soothe myself
please keep walking don’t sit next to me
don’t wanna lose myself
the thoughts i have when you’re too close
are poison to my health
so i must remove myself

you just can’t contain yourself

Sunset Bound

released into the sunset
we spun and danced and laughed wildly
like children who just learned to run without falling
careening through that first evening air without a choice
it was our nature

wide-hipped from the outset
we rose up from the core with pops and swooshes
color-rich bubbles, ciphers, and wheels within wheels
it never occurred to us to float away
togetherness was in our nature

collective in our mindset
we had unique shapes and hues
some of us singular and others linked in love and likeness
racing together in that evening air toward the lessons waiting
boundless energy in our nature

bound toward that sunset
