A Universe Born

A universe unravels,
spirals into motion.
Tectonic shifts send galaxies
wandering aimless.

Light begets light
as satellites collide.
Stars blink in one-two time
in the distant sky at night.

Aurora Borealis bleeds whispers
into motion as clouds exhale
their vacuous wisdom
to the languid winter winds.

Just a spark,
a pink and neon blast
to set it all in motion.
Begin the miraculous journey

through the soft lustre
of creation’s warm canal,
and soon will come the glory
of a pinking universe, newly born.
