All that you don’t know about me
could fit into the Sargasso sea

Yet, you can’t separate me from you.
I won’t become your mother all over again

And this will have a ripple effect
You will disappear for days

I am sequestered,
brandishing my resilience like a sword

When all I really want
is to back up into you

until my spine is a soft snap
against your heart.
