My Own Light

Got my own light
an internal flame that emanates heat
through touch and sound
increasing my cipher’s temperature by 180 degrees
and I want to share my light with you

I want to wrap this heat around you
in soulful yellows and oranges, resplendent reds
with vibrating flecks of electric blue and gold
slowly merging, gently rocking the fiery light within you

Got my own light
never extinguished, rarely cooled
magnetically pulled to you, another fire woman,
our mutual flames make it so damn hard to breath
I hope we burn
