You must have a mind of bees
To keep you company on quiet days
That stretch unending toward decades alone
Your voice unused to connection
That cracks when employed
The bees can buzz you through
Become friends. They don’t like to
Let you get a word in edgewise but
You should try. Crack open those
Dusty vocal cords to speak
Your sorrow until you scream above the
Humming blustery beehive and
Let them see who they’ve been
