if we were not Wolfish
it is possible that we could apologize
for taking this woman from you
but she was fallen food
edible product, warm, liquid feast
her odour of fear intriguing, tantalizing,
irresistible
you tried to contain us yet
that could not prevent the
inevitability of this doing
what we are meant to do
we kill and
now must die
.
