reeling
It was wonderful at first.
Everything was vibrant, colorful.
Life was full and then it wasn’t.
empty.
distant.
cold.
lost interest.
Shimmering autumn hopeful
shriveling
Threads that once bound us
unraveling
Snow-flecked winter winds
freezing
Break through fragile ice
sinking
Gone.
