My house is pastel pink
and ivory
like the inside of a seashell
like new skin and
pale blushing.
My house is made of wood
a living thing a gift.
It smells of cedar.
My house is completely
open on one side
and has many windows.
My house has bookcases
around a hearth
and a chimney
flying to the sky.
My house has books
about hearts and souls.
One room
is full of ponies.
