Bliss Hisses Its Whisper
You want me to wear you like a cape,
for the rest of my days.
I take that enticement under advisement,
you are, after all, the same person
once leaned on – will show your scorecard.
So, here’s to me
flying through the air, like
a trapeze artist
screaming
for her wings.
My arms clinging to the sky like spiderman
in all his superhero glory.
I toss you over the ledge, a toreador
done with the game.
Now I am weightless,
painting the sky
like a firefly.

Flying without weight of the cape. Superwoman needs no wings. I love the imagery and the way this new archetype springs from the clean drawing.
This is a fantastic coupling.
