Keeping time with all the rest,
we dive into the world we made.
No map, tense, or chaperone,
just apprehensive, sweaty hands.
We give a name to nowhere,
relying on an endless game.
False ego leading the way,
silhouettes of wicked freedom.
Pennymouthed deer in headlights,
a new consciousness in our hands.
Lines blurred, timing right on time,
and a short glance to the present.
Finally behind the lens,
standing on an unborn idea.
This was a punch drunk parade,
the day we wandered in head first.
