Lady Red

Inspiration piece

Let me live in you, embody
your spirit, loud and unflinching.

Let me wear you on my wedding
day, blossoming bride
blush spilled on dress, and ravish
eyes that lay of fabric’s sway.
I want you ripped off that night.

Then piece yourself
back together—plunging neckline,
halter top, silk layered shortness.

Yes—
let me live with silken hands
sliding up and down
hips, thighs, spine
as I strut in the supermarket, bank, bowling alley.
Ravish me, your mannequin, Lady Red.

Hold me when I’m buried
so I can dance on the dirt floor.

It was really fun! Thanks for submitting an inspiration! It would not have even crossed my mind to think of weddings, nor your words on them to create something! 🙂
