Douglas Pugh lives in Haliburton, Ontario with a logical wife and an insane menagerie. He likes to believe that he fills the gap in the middle. He writes poetry, short stories and has two novels for which he’s looking for an agent, ‘A pocketful of feathers’ and ‘Downtown’. His short fiction and poetry has been published in Canada, the USA, the UK, Australia, Scandinavia and other parts of Europe. He is a popular performer in the local ‘Dead Poets’ presentations and monthly ‘Live Poets’ gatherings, as well as a narrator on the Minden Ghost Walk. As an ‘unemployed bum’ he likes to daub a little paint in between writing too.
